New Yorks own LORD RAJA has been taking the world by storm for some time now with some awesome flylo-esque beats, and has not slowed down a bit, shown clearly by this bangin' new EP of his entitled Rubies. Upstate born RAJA, aka Chester Anand is currently a SUNY Purchase student, making some sounds in the woods to tickle the ears of any lover of beat music. Ranging styles in his music keep you on your toes, taking from some of the previous sounds of Lapalux as well as Balam ACAB, and even the god of all gods, Sir J Dilla. Having this dropped via Ghostly International is the illest move in my opinion due to the fact that his style is and will be well received in that community, and will give his music the well-deserved boost necesary to bring this guy to the top.
