2008 was a great year for the production duo known as The Kickdrums. While stepping in a new musical direction showcased on their last mixtape, "Things Don't Change" they still made time to drop heat on many of 08's top Hip Hop releases including Vivalahova, Sky High, and A Kid Named Cudi. "Smash the System" is a compilation of The Kickdrums' best work from the past year including remixes and exclusives from the rap games biggest artists. Whether it's officially remixing for Kanye West or collabing with London's rising star Adelle, The Kickdrums proved they're a name to look for in 09. They plan to drop their debut album, featuring all vocals from The Kickdrums' Fitty later this year and they are scheduled to release a pre-album within the month (listen to a snippet at the end of the mixtape). Enjoy!
