From Pennies to Nickels is the 1st installment of a series to come from two young, starving artists from the state of Florida. Together D. Jones and Bill make up DMB music group. Although they are found on many tracks together, they are both solo artists looking to break their way into the game with their many projects they have in the vault. Bill represents Overtown, a small urban area in Miami, Florida, whereas D. Jones represents Lakeland, Florida or Polk County, what is known as the heart of Florida. The two originally bumped into each other in Jacksonville, Florida and the rest was history. Pennies to Nickels, which symbolizes the payoff of a long slow grind, gives that rough street sound (beats) and delivery but also has great lyrics and wordplay and is over all a great diverse project.
