This EP really brings me back to my roots when it comes to Moombahton. Most people know me from my previous endeavors with Youri Pete to form 'BubbleHeads'. From there we have seen our music being released on labels like Sleediz Records, Caballito and more. Not forgetting much blog love from Mad Decent, Tropical Bass, Generation Bass plus many many more. But ever since I've left this duo to focus on my own sound and vibes, I've never left the much appreciated style of tropical bass. The EP includes 2 collaborations with some of my favorite Moombahton producers. The first track 'Passiano' is a dance floor banger that I've done with Zee Reach. He is one of the few Moombahton producers I've followed a lot when I started working on this genre. On the other hand, 'Deccan' is a track with a lot of soul and it's a collaboration between myself and Rafael Aragon who is one of those producers I've been longing to work with ever since I discovered him while researching on Moombahton vibes. On overall, this whole EP was very 'Mumbai' inspired, hence the name 'Moombai'. I'm from Singapore and it's a multi-cultural country that includes many different races. It's always cool to revisit different cultures to form that 'Singapore Style'.
